Hurricane Dorian’s devastation to the Bahamas is beyond comprehension – unsurprisingly, guides are stepping up and donating their time, talents, resources, and dollars for relief efforts. We’re proud to kick in and support them and these incredibly important causes. THANK YOU to all of our guide community friends who are involved – you’re truly nature’s best stewards.
There are many worthy organizations helping out the Bahamian community – here are three Guide Beer is supporting:
GUIDES FOR GUIDES
Silver Kings TV hosted an auction with 30 guides who donated a day fishing with them – with 100% of dollars raised going to Bonefish & Tarpon Trust’s Bahamian relief efforts and Yellow Dog Foundation’s Bahamian relief efforts.
YELLOW DOG COMMUNITY AND CONSERVATION FUND
BONEFISH & TARPON TRUST

STUART SAILFISH CLUB
Since the hurricane hit, this foundation based out of Stuart, FL has completed over 70 missions shuttling supplies (over 50 tons as of last week) to the Bahamas – they even secured a BlackHawk helicopter and have saved lives through 27 evacuation trips. This organization is all charter boat captains and guides, and we’re proud to support and humbled by their ongoing efforts. Follow their progress (and see the incredible videos and images on Facebook and Instagram).
